CACDS is calling all Cougars to participate in its 2nd VIZAPALOOZA — a visualization challenge aimed to promote research synergy @ UH. Join the UH research community at the CACDS visualization theater to share the coolest images and movies that talk about your important research. All images are welcome (independently of the computer tools/equipment used to create them).
Friday May 13th, 1pm-4pm at CACDS’ Visualization Theater at PGH 216.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to talk about their research and data visualization/analysis. Data visualization submissions will be judged by both the participants and guests then. Points will be awarded based on criteria such as the coolest, most artistic and most scientifically relevant. Winners will be identified and prizes will be given out.
SUBMIT IMAGES/VIDEOS: send along with a title and short abstract (150 words) to firstname.lastname@example.org by May 12th.
